3D Image Vector

The compact designed 3D Image Vector includes a sensor unit and a data log. The sensor is includes a GNSS-Antenna, tilt and acceleration sensor in all 3 axis and gyro sensor. With this sensors and a fusion algorithm the camera position and the orientation over all 3 axis will be calculated. We turn a normal camera into a professional surveying tool.


We document processes in areal and temporal dimensions. With the 3D Image Vector, we determine damages and changes on existing real estates, walls and streets. With the 3D Image Vector we create daily documentation of your site and can monitor the in and outgoing volumes.

By using the 3D Image Vector, we create georeferenced images in a fast way and with almost every commercial camera. For every image, the position and the rotation angles are recorded and can be used for further processing. If, for example, the images are taken with high overlap, direct georeferencing for 3D point cloud generation can be applied. We will receive true to scale 3D point clouds, 3D models and ortho-views with reduced or without using additional Ground Control Points for georeferencing.


Easy in use and inexpensive, the REDcatch 3D Image Vector enables us to get accurate 3D measurements from Photogrammetric projects. The Image Vector is the ideal terrestrial tool for combining UAV images and terrestrial images, as image position and angles are known for processing.


The Image Vector MONO uses a L1 GNSS RTK System, which uses a base station for delivering the correction data. The base station is included in the packages, as well as a Radio to transmit the signal. Image centers are recorded at an accuracy level of 15 to 20cm, the rotation angles up to 0.5°.
